We have a grand time talking to screenwriter Stephany Folsom about the Black List live reading, her script: 1969 A Space Odyssey, strong female characters, establishing a reputation as a writer, and the brilliance of the script for Se7evn. We also discuss rape on film and Women In Refrigerators, our crush on Shane Black, The Shining, and Room 237. Our character spotlight is Grace from Short Term 12. It should be noted that Stephany brought us cookies, which may be the cause of our extensive laughter. The photo is Stephany holding one of these excellent cookies. Repeat: That is a cookie.
